Game TrailerIn the far future, humanity struggles against a relentless enemy with seemingly infinite troops. On your small planet, Mankind successfully drove off the invaders by using advanced defensive tower technology, protecting the power cores that the aliens were desperate to capture. A thousand years later, the aliens are back. You take refuge in one of the ancient bases and activate its AI to assist you while innumerable waves of enemies come rushing towards your power cores. The future of civilization is in your hands! • Intense strategic gameplay. Rescue your planet from annihilation, divert the alien hordes and defeat your enemy in real time with whatever tactics come to hand. • 20 different levels. Defense Grid: The Awakening has 20 unique environments, each with its own placement of roads, tower build locations and open areas around which to plan your strategy. Each level is a learning challenge as you level up and gain new tower effects. • Fun for all skill levels. Start off small, learn to spend your resources wisely and progressively unlock a wide variety of towers, each with a unique effect. It’s up to you to find the most effective tactics to save the day. • A wide variety of enemies. Battle 15 different and increasingly stronger enemy types that employ distinctly different strategies to bypass your defenses. Some enemies come in large groups, or are individually strong – you never know what will happen until they’re upon you. • Numerous tower options and upgrades. Defense Grid: The Awakening offers 10 different tower types, each with three levels of capability. Every tower type has unique tradeoffs that affect ideal placement, including line-of-sight attack or ballistic trajectory fire; a large area of effect or damage over time; or minimum and maximum ranges. Some towers even improve the capabilities of other towers nearby, so think hard about your placement! |
