Mission
We don't have a formal "mission statement", but over the years we have developed a sort of intuitive "philosophy" about how to make great games and run a studio that provides a supportive work environment that creates a positive experience for all those who are a part of it. At least, we hope we have.
Studio Profile
Tilted Mill was established in 2001 by a team of veteran game developers anxious to use its knowledge and expertise in a stimulating work environment conducive to the creation of the highest quality strategy games, role-playing games and simulations for the PC and other gaming platforms. We intend to create the best games in the world and to have a lot of fun doing it!
We provide a work environment that is both disciplined and stimulating, focusing on treating our publishing partners and our staff with honesty and integrity.
Developers Bios
Mat Williams – Co-Designer, Producer, Programmer
Avid bowler, golfer and poker-player, Mat’s other gaming frequently interferes with his computer time.
He got started as a tester at Impressions Software and was the lead designer and programmer of the epic indie RPG Prelude to Darkness before joining Tilted Mill in 2002 where he served as a producer until returning to design and coding in 2008.
Jeff Fiske – Co-Designer
Part-time gamer, part-time family man - just don’t ask his family which gets more time. When Jeff is not gaming or spending time with the family he enjoys playing and coaching soccer, watching football and occasionally skiing. Jeff has been developing games since 1995, working first at Impressions Software and helped found Tilted Mill Entertainment.
